PROGRAM

Meet with the "Enchanted Forest guide" at the parking lot on Hom Hill and enter the theme trail together as a group.

The trail takes us from point to point. Each point is like an open forest classroom where you can observe, play, feel, learn, and enjoy nature. The main task of the forest adventure is to solve the riddles along the way, unlock the hut where the forest bandit lives, and ultimately report him to the vigilant Enchanted Forest police.

We will visit Kuštrela (Wild Woman) at her hut in the middle of the beautiful meadow. She will show us different plants, and we will help her prepare tea from herbs or herb salt. While she may seem unfriendly, she is a very generous woman, offering us refreshing drinks and treats as a way of showing her hospitality. We will stop at the Dwarfs’ playground to test our balance and movement with various obstacles and showcase our talents at the theater. Our last stop will be at the Fairies’ music room, situated at a stunning viewpoint. This is where we can play forest instruments and help prepare a tasteful soup for the wolves that visit Robida, the most beautiful Fairy, every day. She will offer us some yummy treats.

A walk through the forest will encourage everyone to carefully observe the surroundings, feel, and become acquainted with the forest vegetation.

HOW TO GET TO HOM HILL

If you are coming with a car, click HERE.

If you are walking, click HERE

There are two routes leading to the summit of Hom Hill. One is longer and wider, suitable for cars and vans, while the other is shorter, narrower, and more suited to hikers. If using Google Maps to locate a meeting point, it may direct you along the narrower route, which can be challenging for drivers. Therefore, we advise against using it if you're driving.

Arriving by car: from the direction of Bled, turn right before reaching Gostilna Kurej in Zasip village, and follow the road and smaller signs leading to Hom Hill. Leave your car in the parking lot by St. Catherine church.

Arriving on foot: from the direction of Bled, proceed past Gostilna Kurej on your right, then keep right and slightly veer left uphill till you reach St. Catherine church.

The starting point is at the parking lot by the church on Hom Hill.  Look for an information board at the viewpoint; this marks the beginning of your journey into the Enchanted Forest.
